How is the United States?
I am enjoying life here in the US. I have been here since April and being hosted by a lot of Nigerian communities here. It’s really a whole different experience for me. Nigerians here in the US have shown tremendous love and they have made my stay here a beautiful experience.

Artistes Poised To Revamp Abuja Theatre

Following the decline of the theatre culture in Abuja, theatre artistes have put together a series of activities poised to revamp theatre. 
Speaking during a special presentation on a the need for people to develop a theatre habit in Abuja, the executive director of  Afrique Arts Academy, school of performing arts, Mrs Teena Ukpai said arts is very important in the development of our society. “Arts embody a wealth of knowledge that cannot be exhausted and it is essential for us to come together and encourage this culture of going to the theatre”.

John Dumelo Delves Into Music

Ghana’s show-boy, John Dumelo has joined the likes of Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade, Tonto Dikeh and many others to try his hand on music. The actor who has been on silver screens for many years has now added music production to his works. The record label named ‘Melo Records’ is set to contribute its quota to the Ghanaian music industry and put its artistes on the international platform.
Reports say award winning hip-hop emcee, Cyril-Alex Gockel who uses stage name C-Real is the first artiste signed on the label.

Organisers of Star Music Trek, the popular annual music tour have unveiled the 22 Nigerian acts that will be performing on this year’s tour!
The artistes were unveiled on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at an announcement ceremony held at Rhapsodys Lounge, Victoria Island and attended by the top industry buffs, artistes, on air personalities and public relations executives.

Star actress, Yvonne Nelson has reacted to the insinuations and tales that she’s hit it off with Tuface Idibia’s protégé, Dammy Krane.
In a twitter rant during the week, the actress disclosed that she’s a very jovial lady, “I am a very jovial lady…my keeks are proof…..I have keeks with Majid, John, Dammy etc. They are sweet and adorable guys. Love them”.
In another tweet, Yvonne wonders why, “Peeps just wake up in the morning guessing and deciding who Yvonne is dating…..” saying it’s “absurd”.

New NTDC Boss Tasked On Classification Of Hotels

Some stakeholders in the tourism industry on Thursday in Lagos called on the newly-appointed Executive Director of the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation, NTDC, to classify hotels in the country.
The stakeholders made the call in interviews with the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN on their expectations from the new NTDC boss, Mrs. Sally Mbanefo, who was appointed by the Federal Government on May 9.
