God has always been with us. (John 1:1) Therefore the name Immanuel was further a reminder that God is with us. (Matthew 1:23) Names are a reminder of who we are that was why in the first part of this series I told you that the name you bear matters a lot. Jesus knew that He is God but didn’t make Himself equal with God … Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross Philippians 2:6-8 and because of the level of His humility, God further gave Him a name that is higher than every name. (Philippians 2:9-10) 
Beloved, there is something so powerful, so unique, and so extraordinary about that name ‘Jesus’: Demons cannot withstand that name, (Acts 16:18) sicknesses cannot contain that name, (Acts 3:6) barrenness terminates at that name, poverty flees from that name, loneliness melts at that name. Whatever situation you find yourself in at the mention of the name Jesus, that situation must bow. As a matter of truth, God makes His presence felt whenever you mention the name ‘Jesus’. 
Child of God what is that that has stolen the sleep from your eyes? Several today are unaware of the enormous power at their disposal in which they fail to wield. My Bible tells me in Luke 10:19 that Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.  This power is made available when you call on that name “Jesus”. No situation has the right to cage you as long as you are a child of God. No problem has the potency to break you just as He said in His word. (I Corinthians 10:13) Call on the name Jesus today and He will make His presence profound in your issue.
I wish to use this medium to welcome you all into the year 2012 – a year of uncommon favour and fullness of joy. I prophecy that nothing placed in your hands this year will suffer; you shall savour uncommon favour in Jesus name and your joy shall know no bounds. If you believe that shout a better Amen!
Prayer points:
1. By the authority and power in the name of Jesus, all that the enemy has declared impossible for my life shall become possible in Jesus name.
2. Oh Lord my God, let the power for permanent victory over the works of darkness rest upon my life in Jesus name.
3. According to Revelations 5:10, I am a destined reigning king and I must reign; nothing shall stop my destiny in Jesus name.
4. Dominion is my birth right in Christ Jesus; I therefore declare my dominion over all the forces of the enemy in Jesus name.
5. Let the heavens over my life and destiny be opened by fire in the name of Jesus.
6. As my Lord Jesus triumphed over Satan and his agents, I also have triumphed over the devil and his agents in Jesus name.
