Edo Youths Will Not Be Deterred - Youngest Oldman

Foremost comedian, Youngest Oldman who has virtually left his place on stage to campaign for the re-election of Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has said that the youths of the state will not be deterred by what he called “the forces of evil.”
In a statement made available to newsmen, Rowland Igbadume, aka Youngest Oldman said, “no matter what happens, we the youth of this state will not be deterred or discouraged or become afraid of supporting Gov Adams Oshiomhole because supporting the comrade governor means standing up for what is right.”
The popular comedian, referring to the gruesome murder of the governor’s principal private secretary, and the suspicious accident of the governor’s convoy which is still under investigation, said “these forces of evil can neither deceive us nor make us afraid of standing for our right and what we know is good for us.”
He added that voting for Governor Oshiomhole is a security for the future of the state and for the younger generation as they would ultimately benefit from the developmental projects which the governor has embarked upon.
“We are left with no choice but to vote for our governor so that he will have more time to carry out the extensive development of the state he has already started,” he said.
Speaking to the youths of the state, the popular comedian and events manager assured that with God on their side, they will have their choice of leader. He however called on them not just to come out and vote, but to guard their votes to make sure there is no rigging.
“I therefore call on all the youths of Edo State to come out enmass to vote for Governor Oshiomhole and to protect their votes to make sure nobody tampers with our decision. Let us see this as a decision, not only for us, but for the progress and development of our state,” the statement read.
It would be recalled that the Edo born entertainer has since relocated to his state to campaign for the re-election of Governor Oshiomhole. He has made a number of trips to the Diaspora and within the state to campaign for the governor.
And while many fear that he was putting his career on the line, the entertainer has insisted that his action was born out of the desire to participate in the development of his state, hence his willingness to pay whatever price.
