The Good In Trials, Afflictions And Temptations (11)

Remember, the past few weeks, we have discussed ways on how to handle trials and afflictions with scanty references on temptations. This was deliberately done so that at the end of the present series, we will discuss temptations on their own merit and demerits.

The Power Of A Spiritual Mark (2)

Dearly beloved, I welcome you this week in the name of Jesus. Kicking off from where we left off last week; I asked you a question and for the benefit of those who missed out on that, the question was – Do you bear the mark of the blood of the Lamb upon the door post of your heart? This is a very serious question that demands a very solemn consideration and if the answer is a no, then you need to make Jesus Christ your Lord and personal Saviour. It is then and only then will His Blood be upon the door post of your heart.

Something About That Name “Jesus” (4)

hree people were arguing about what profession was used first in the bible. The Surgeon said, "The medical profession was used first when God took a rib from Adam and made Eve."
The Engineer replied, "No, engineering was used first. Just think of the engineering job it took to create the world out of chaos." But the Politician argued, "You would have nothing if we didn’t create chaos in the beginning?"

Something About That Name “Jesus” (3)

News Introduction:
And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. Mark 10:47-48

So many are conversant with the story behind the text above – yes the story of blind Bartimaeus but however, they remain naïve of the efficacy and potency of the name, JESUS. Blind Bartimaeus knew this; hence he was determined to use both the efficacy and potency that this name carries to get his sight despite the multitude that tried to hush him.

But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” Jam. 1:2-5, 12 (NKJV)
